Cancellation & Refund Policy

At VOYARS, we believe cancellation policies should be transparent, predictable, and easy to understand — especially when booking premium stays.

This page explains exactly what happens if you need to cancel a booking and how refunds are handled.

1.

Cancellation before arrival

If you cancel your stay before arrival:

Your booking is cancelled in full

A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total booking value applies

This fee is retained from the amounts already paid

Any remaining balance is refunded to you

Refunds are processed within 30 calendar days

No further payments will be collected once the booking is cancelled.

How refunds are calculated – example

To ensure full clarity, here is a practical example using a split payment plan:
Total booking value:

£10,000

Initial payment (50%):

£5,000

Cancellation fee (10% of total booking value):

£1,000

Refund calculation:

The cancellation fee is always calculated on the total booking value, but deducted only from the amounts already paid.

3.

Cancellation after arrival

Once the stay has started (after check-in), cancellations are generally not eligible for refunds, as the accommodation has already been made available and reserved exclusively.

If a serious issue arises during the stay, this is handled under our Trust & Protection framework, not as a standard cancellation.

How to cancel a booking

To cancel a booking, guests must send a cancellation request by email to:

Refund timing and method

We do not charge additional processing or administration fees beyond the stated cancellation fee.

Payment plans and cancellations

If you selected a split payment plan:
All adjustments are based on the total booking value and the applicable cancellation fee.
