This page explains exactly what happens if you need to cancel a booking and how refunds are handled.

Cancellation before arrival
If you cancel your stay before arrival:
Your booking is cancelled in full
A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total booking value applies
This fee is retained from the amounts already paid
Any remaining balance is refunded to you
Refunds are processed within 30 calendar days

How refunds are calculated – example
£10,000
£5,000
Cancellation fee (10% of total booking value):
£1,000
Refund calculation:
- £1,000 is retained as the cancellation fee
- £4,000 is refunded to the guest
- No future instalments are charged
The cancellation fee is always calculated on the total booking value, but deducted only from the amounts already paid.
3.
Cancellation after arrival
Once the stay has started (after check-in), cancellations are generally not eligible for refunds, as the accommodation has already been made available and reserved exclusively.

How to cancel a booking
To cancel a booking, guests must send a cancellation request by email to:
- Please include your booking reference and full name
- Cancellations are effective once confirmed by VOYARS in writing
- You will receive a response within 48 hours

Refund timing and method
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing time is up to 30 calendar days
- You will receive confirmation once the refund has been initiated

Payment plans and cancellations
- only the amounts already paid are considered
- any future instalments are automatically cancelled
- no additional charges apply after cancellation
