This page provides a high-level overview of how VOYARS operates from a legal and contractual perspective. It is designed to help you understand our role, your rights, and how responsibilities are structured — in clear, plain language.
For full legal terms, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
1.
What VOYARS is — and what it isn't
VOYARS is a travel platform that facilitates bookings for premium accommodation and offers structured payment plans for travel services.
VOYARS
- is not a bank
- is not a lender
- does not provide financial credit or loans
We do not offer revolving credit, interest-based products, or financial instruments.
Instead, VOYARS provides a contractual payment arrangement for travel services, with fixed, transparent fees agreed upfront.
2.
Our role in your booking
When you book through VOYARS, you enter into a tripartite contractual framework involving:
You (the guest)
The property owner or operator
VOYARS as the facilitating and responsible platform
VOYARS acts as:
- the booking facilitator
- the payment structure provider
- the primary point of contact and resolution
We do not simply list properties — we stand behind the stays offered on our platform.
3.
Payment plans explained (legal perspective)
Payment plans offered by VOYARS:
- are not credit agreements
- do not involve external financial institutions
- do not include variable interest or compounding charges
All payment plans:
- have a fixed service fee, disclosed upfront
- follow a clear payment schedule
- are governed by contractual terms, not financial lending regulations
Payments are made in accordance with the agreed schedule and contractual obligations.
Eligibility for split payment plans may require identity and address verification.
This verification is part of VOYARS’ contractual and compliance framework and is not related to financial credit checks or lending assessments.
4.
Responsibility and accountability
VOYARS takes contractual responsibility for:
- the accuracy of listings
- the verification of properties
- handling issues and disputes related to the stay
Property owners are contractually required to:
- meet the agreed standards
- provide the accommodation as described
- cooperate in the resolution of any issues
This structure ensures accountability without shifting responsibility between parties.
5.
Protection and insurance
Bookings made through VOYARS benefit from travel protection cover, subject to eligibility and assessment under the applicable policy terms.
The protection:
- applies to serious, material issues affecting the stay
- covers up to 100% of the booking value, capped at £50,000 per booking
- requires reasonable documentation of the issue
Protection exists to provide reassurance, not to replace clear contractual obligations.
6.
Disputes and resolution
VOYARS acts as the single point of contact for disputes related to bookings made on the platform.
Disputes are handled through:
- documented assessment
- fair and reasonable resolution procedures
- clear communication with all parties involved
We aim to resolve issues efficiently, transparently, and without unnecessary escalation.
7.
Jurisdiction and applicable law
VOYARS operates in accordance with applicable UK and European regulations.
Contractual relationships are governed by:
- the applicable terms outlined at the time of booking
- relevant consumer protection laws
Specific jurisdiction and governing law are detailed in the Terms & Conditions.
8.
Transparency and good faith
Our legal framework is built on:
Transparency
Predictability
Good faith cooperation
We believe that clear expectations and clearly defined responsibilities are essential for premium travel experiences.
9.
